Working with the
Pittsburgh Steelers
ABOUT ME
I am from Alexandria, VA and graduated high school from Fork Union Military Academy in 2010. My college career has been one big journey, from starting my collegiate career playing football at Campbell University in North Carolina. After a year there, I made the tough decision to transfer out in order to better myself as both a student and athlete and attended Ashland University. During my year there, I discovered that an injury I sustained while training was much more severe than originally believed. Surgery was completed on both my ACL, LCL, and nerves that were severed in my leg. Though it was believed my career was cut short, I worked hard to do whatever possible to get back to school and finish my career. After 2 1/2 years out of school, transferred to Ohio Dominican University where I finished what I started. While at ODU I worked within the athletic department and fell in love with the event operations side of sports. The learning experience helped me build great connections and realize what I would like to do in my career. After graduation and working a few jobs, I realized that getting back into sports is where I needed to be. I am grateful that I was able to be a Stadium Operations Intern for the Columbus Crew, which eventually helped prepare me for an internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers. My learning experience in the past few years has helped me grow in ways I couldn’t have imagined and am excited for the grey thing s to come.
